Diploma of Pilates Movement Therapy 10567NAT
Advanced Diploma of Pilates Movement Therapy 10568NAT
Revolution is excited to deliver the APMA’s Diploma of Pilates Movement Therapy and Advanced Diploma of Pilates Movement Therapy. Based on the Australian Pilates Method Association’s ground-breaking Level Two Pilates Instructor Course (delivered since 1994), these qualifications are the result of years of debate, study, evidence-based research and practice from the highly respected voices in the Pilates and Health professions. This collaborative approach has made the APMA’s Diploma and Advanced Diploma the most comprehensive and balanced qualifications in the industry.
Be Remarkable
Our aim is to provide those interested in becoming Pilates Practitioners with a thorough understanding of the Pilates Method and its use within the area of musculoskeletal assessment and exercise prescription. You will learn traditional and modern interpretations of Pilates repertoire and improve your critical reasoning skills, while developing the creativity necessary to be a remarkable professional in the Method.
The Difference
Rather than providing you a ‘grocery list’ of exercises and catch-phrases to use, our courses are designed to help you understand the Methodology, to find your own voice within it. You’ll discover how to keep your clients engaged and in the process, find ways to keep you fascinated that you’ll use throughout your career.
Whether you intend to teach Pilates floor classes or work in an equipment-based studio or health practice, these qualifications are for you.
Professional Advantages
Both qualifications sit squarely in the Health Sector, giving holders an advantage in the Health Industry marketplace over those with Pilates qualifications from the Fitness Sector alone.
Successful completion of either qualification offers a direct pathway to Level 3 Membership with the APMA, and meets requisites for PI/PL insurance coverage as a Pilates Instructor with most insurance providers (ex. Aon).
APMA members enjoy the respect of the health industry. In addition, APMA Level 2 and higher members are given provider status with a growing number of health funds, including NIB, BUPA, HBF and Australian Unity.

Pathway to Adv Diploma
FULL DELIVERY This nationally accredited qualification prepares students to work with medium-to-high risk clients in a one-on-one Studio (equipment-based) or Group settings. The course is designed to further the work started in the Diploma of Pilates Movement Therapy by deepening the practitioner’s ability to teach Pilates exercise using a variety of somatic theories, bodywork techniques and psychological strategies.
