Pilates instructor course (RL2)

Course Details
Revolution’s Level 2 Pilates Course is designed to teach the theoretical and historical basis of the Pilates Method, and prepare you to work professionally.
Our aim is for you to learn not just a variety of traditional and modern interpretations of Pilates repertoire, but also the understanding of the methodology necessary to be a respected professional in this field. Whether you intend to teach Pilates floor classes or work in an equipment-based studio, this instructor course is for you.
Professional Advantage
Successful completion of this course is required to be a Level 2 Instructor Member of the APMA (previously titled ‘Level 1′), and meets requisites for PI/PL insurance coverage as a Pilates Instructor with most insurance providers (ex. Aon.).
APMA members enjoy the respect of the health industry. In addition, APMA Level 2 and higher members are given provider status with a growing number of health funds, including MBF, and NRMA/SGIC/SGIO (AHM- Level 2 Members only).
Diploma & Advanced Diplomas in PIlates Movement Therapy
The following accredited courses – 69802 Diploma of Pilates Movement Therapy and 69803 Advanced Diploma of Pilates Movement Therapy – will be delivered here by Revolution Pilates Studio, through the APMA Inc. in 2012. These two courses are owned by APMA Inc. and are listed on Training.gov.au (TGA), the database on Vocational Education and Training in Australia..
Previous and current participants in the current APMA Pilates Instructor Course (including our RL1 and RL2 courses) will be able to claim recognition for prior learning for most of the Diploma of Pilates Movement Therapy qualification. We anticipate this to consist of a limited number of bridging courses to be offered in early 2012. In addition, graduates of other recognised packages (such as Cert IV’s in Pilates Method) will most likely meet many of the units necessary for attainment of this Diploma.
Don’t wait until the Diploma is delivered in 2012; start by attending the RL2 course now and beat the rush!
