Who are we?

Revolution has developed a reputation among the local Pilates, Complimentary Health and Medical communities for safe, quality instruction and compassionate rehabilitation technique.

Most of our clientele come from word-of-mouth or referrals from our colleagues in the medical profession. Revolution runs WA’s only APMA-registered Level Pilates Instructor Course and has established a reputation as the preferred course for the serious Pilates Instructor. Most studios in Perth and surrounds have Revolution-trained instructors on their staff.

The Best Studio

Every studio has a special soul and energy that is a reflection of the owner and the staff. It has to have the right mix of expertise, comfort, and supportive environment for you to feel encouraged and safe. We are proud of our studio, both its ambience of quiet reflection, and the environment, which encourages exploration and change. We are dedicated to the health of our clients, to helping you on your health journey.

The Best Instructors

We have the best qualified, compassionate, creative and eager instructors in the industry. Period.

It’s easy to become focused on the buzz of the PIlates Method, and to forget about the quality of it’s instruction. The focus should be on the practitioner and their ability to present the information to you in a safe but challenging way. It’s your body, after all, and so it’s important that you trust your Practitioner.

Each of us complete a rigorous 2 year programme at our studio (or similar training) to well above industry standards (ie. Australian Pilates Method Association; GYROTONIC® International) before being allowed to work as full staff members. We are required to have our own Professional Indemnity/Public Liability insurance policies and Senior 1st Aid certificates.

We have backgrounds in areas such as dance, massage therapy, fitness, yoga and physiotherapy. We also have our own specialties and interests, such as working with the disabled, pregnant women, and the aged, or the sports applications of Pilates. We are also actively engaged in regular continuing education and encouraged to become full members of the APMA, our industry’s not-for-profit peak professional body.

Professional Referral

We work closely with our clients’ Health team in order to provide the best possible care. A properly qualified Pilates Method instructor is not required to be a physiotherapist and in many cases is more highly trained to teach movement and exercise prescription.
